Studio™ Installation
A complete Studio™ workspace setup — desk surface, monitor arm, cable management, and accessory rail — can typically be assembled by one person in under 2 hours using the tools included in the packaging. This page provides an overview of the installation sequence.
Recommended Installation Sequence
Install Studio™ components in the following order for the most efficient setup:
- Assemble the desk legs and attach to the desk surface. Adjust leg height to your preferred working height (standard: 720–750mm).
- Position the desk in your chosen location. Leave sufficient clearance behind the desk for cable routing and, if applicable, Axis™ pole installation.
- Install the under-desk cable tray before placing the desk against the wall — access is easier before the desk is in its final position.
- Install the monitor arm using the desk-clamp or pole-mount method. Route the monitor cable through the arm’s integrated cable channel.
- Install the accessory rail above the desk surface using the supplied wall fixings or desk-clamp brackets.
- Route and manage cables using cable clips along the desk edge and legs, terminating at the power management unit.
- Install the Axis™ pole (if included in your configuration) and add shelves and accessories.
Monitor Arm Adjustment
After installation, adjust the monitor arm to your preferred position: set the height so the top of the monitor is at or slightly below eye level, tilt the monitor to eliminate screen glare, and adjust the arm tension so the monitor holds its position without drifting.
