Build Your Studio™

A Studio™ configuration begins with your work and how you do it. This guide walks you through the key decisions in specifying your workspace system.

Step 1: Define Your Work Surface

Choose a desk surface width and depth that suits your work style and available space:

• 1200mm wide — Suitable for single-monitor setups and focused individual work
• 1600mm wide — Suitable for dual-monitor setups and work that requires spread-out materials
• 1800mm wide — Suitable for professional studio setups with multiple screens and equipment

Desk surfaces are available in 600mm and 750mm depths. Use our Measurement Guide to confirm your available space.

Step 2: Plan Your Monitor Setup

Choose between a single monitor arm (for one screen) or a dual monitor arm (for two screens). Monitor arms mount to the desk surface or to an Axis™ pole, freeing the desk surface beneath the monitor for storage or work space.

Step 3: Plan Your Cable Management

Identify your cable sources (computer, monitors, peripherals, power) and plan your cable routing. The Studio™ cable management system includes under-desk cable trays, cable clips for the desk surface edge, and a power management unit that consolidates all power connections in one accessible location.

Step 4: Add Vertical Storage

Pair your Studio™ desk with an Axis™ pole beside or behind the desk for vertical storage. Add shelves for books and equipment, rails for bags and accessories, and lighting for task illumination.

Step 5: Choose Your Finish

Desk surfaces are available in Oak, Walnut, and White Lacquer. All metal components are available in Matte Black and Brushed Steel. Order material samples before committing.
