Frame™ Installation
Frame™ panels are designed to be installed by two people without specialist tools or floor fixings. A standard single-panel installation takes approximately 15 minutes; a multi-panel configuration can typically be completed in under 2 hours. This page provides an overview of the installation process.
Before You Begin
- Plan your configuration on a floor plan, noting panel positions, connector types, and any openings
- Confirm your floor surface is level — Frame™ base plates include levelling feet for minor floor irregularities (up to 10mm)
- For configurations longer than 4 panels in a straight run, or in high-traffic environments, consider wall anchoring using the optional Wall Anchor Bracket
- Glass panels are heavy — two people are required for safe handling and installation
Installation Overview
- Unpack and inspect all panels and components before beginning
- Position the first panel at your chosen start point and adjust the levelling feet until the panel is plumb
- Attach the connector to the first panel using the supplied Allen key
- Position and connect the second panel, checking alignment before tightening
- Continue along the run, connecting panels and checking alignment at each step
- Install wall anchors if required, using the supplied template for fixing positions
Reconfiguration
To reconfigure, reverse the installation process: loosen connectors, separate panels, and reposition. Panels can be moved without damage to floors or walls (unless wall anchors have been installed).
