The materials we use are not chosen for trend — they are chosen for longevity, structural integrity, and the ability to hold their character over time. Every SpaceTenet finish is a considered decision, evaluated for how it performs under load, how it ages in a domestic or commercial environment, and how it reads within the architectural language of the system.

Steel Finishes

Our structural components — poles, connectors, brackets, and frames — are available in the following steel finishes:

• Matte Black — Our signature finish. A flat, non-reflective powder coat that reads as architectural and recedes into the background of any space. Resistant to fingerprints and minor abrasion.
• Brushed Steel — A warm, directional finish that references industrial precision. Pairs naturally with natural wood surfaces and warm interior palettes.
• Powder-Coated White — A clean, minimal option for light-toned interiors. Available on selected components.

Shelf & Surface Materials

Shelf surfaces and desk tops are available in the following materials:

• Oak — A warm, open-grained hardwood with consistent colour and excellent dimensional stability. Finished with a matte oil that enhances the natural grain without adding surface gloss.
• Walnut — A rich, dark hardwood with a fine, straight grain. Finished with a matte oil. Available in selected configurations.
• White Lacquer — A smooth, clean surface for minimal interiors. Pairs naturally with matte black or brushed steel structural components.

We strongly recommend ordering material samples before committing to a full configuration. Samples allow you to evaluate finish quality, colour accuracy, and material character under your own lighting conditions and against your existing surfaces. Order samples here.
