Build Your Axis™

Every Axis™ configuration begins with a few key decisions. This guide walks you through the process of specifying your system — from pole selection to shelf configuration to finish choice — so you can order with confidence and build without surprises.

Step 1: Choose Your Pole Type

Select the pole configuration that best matches your space and intended use:

  • Single Pole — Best for compact spaces, accent shelving, or as a starting point for a larger system
  • Double Pole — Best for wider shelf spans, wardrobe configurations, and full-wall systems
  • Wall Pole — Best for maximising wall space in narrow rooms or corridors
  • Corner Pole — Best for corner spaces and L-shaped configurations

Step 2: Measure Your Space

Axis™ poles are adjustable within a specified height range. Before ordering, measure your ceiling height and confirm it falls within the range of your chosen pole. Use our Measurement Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Step 3: Plan Your Shelf Configuration

Decide how many shelves you need, at what heights, and in what depth. Shelves are available in multiple depths (200mm, 300mm, 400mm) and lengths (to suit single and double pole spans). Consider what you will store or display on each shelf when planning heights.

Step 4: Choose Your Finish

All Axis™ structural components are available in Matte Black and Brushed Steel. Shelf surfaces are available in Oak, Walnut, and White Lacquer. Order material samples before committing if you are unsure.

Step 5: Add Accessories

Complete your configuration with hanging rails, lighting modules, cable management, hooks, and organisational accessories. Browse the full Accessories range.
